Wellstone Community Education

About Us:
The Community Education program at Wellstone International High School is part of the 21st Century Community Learning Center that offers diverse enrichment options to connect, complement, and support day-school learning. Our afterschool activities proceed Monday through Friday from 3:00-5:00 pm. With over 70 languages spoken by the students and consisting of all immigrant or refugee English Language Learners. We strive to offer interdisciplinary and culturally inclusive programming driven by youth voice in order to support their nuanced transition to Minneapolis.

This program is funded in part with a grant from the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) using Federal 21st Century Community Learning Center Funding. Neither MDE nor the US Department of Education endorses the programs or services.
